How can you join an Alliance in WP7?

There is no messaging - so how do we ask players?

I am in Earth - No Purchases and would like to join a top alliance.

As well, what is the benefit of being in an alliance and how does it work?

Hi,

To join an alliance, go into the Intel screen and swipe over to the alliance screen. Then click on the search icon. From there you'll have to type in the alliance name and password to join.

Thanks Matt. However, my question - how do you get a PASSWORD?

Won't someone in the alliance have to give it to you?

But there is no way to contact people in the WP7 Game.

Yes somebody in the alliance will have to give it to you - the leader of the alliance can also change it.

You can contact people through WP7 - in the Intel Screen go to the friends screen and add a user as a friend (the user will have to accept you as a friend before you can message them however)

WP7 and iPhone (and soon Android) are are inter compatible so you can talk to any user in any platform.
